Vote count in 135 constituencies: NC leads in 42, UML in 38, CPN (MC) in 14
According to the Election Commission’s updates till 12:15 pm today, vote counting is taking place for 135 constituencies out of 165. In the ongoing vote counts, the NC is taking its lead in 42 constituencies, CPN (UML) in 38, CPN (Maoist Centre) in 14, Rashtriya Swatantra Party in 11, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party in five and other parties and candidates in 22.

Chhiring Dorje Lama of the Nepali Congress has won the election under the Province Assembly from Kathmandu constituency-3 (A). He obtained 4,558 votes to win the election, according to election officer Mandira Shahi. Lama’s nearest competitor was Chandra Man Lama from the CPN (UML) who finished the race with 3,415.
