Electricity leakage towards distribution drops to 7.99%
Electricity leakage towards distribution has been limited to 7.99 per cent during the first seven months of the current fiscal year. The Nepal Electricity Authority has reduced the cumulative loss towards distribution by 1.66 percentage points during mid-February this year compared to the same period last fiscal year. The progress was made because of the campaign launched to ensure regular electricity supply and control technical and non-technical leakages on a regular basis. Electricity leakage towards distribution till mid-February last year was 9.65 per cent.
