Sapkota re-elected chairman of Press Chautari Nepal, Gorkhapatra chapter

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 11: Nagendra Sapkota has been re-elected as the chairman of the Press Chautari Nepal Gorkhapatra chapter, an organisation affiliated with the CPN-UML. A new 13-member executive committee has been unanimously elected under his leadership.

The fifth convention of the chapter held on Monday elected the new executive committee under Sapkota’s leadership. 

Manojratna Shahi and Sapana Thami have been elected as Vice-Chairs, Keshab Gurung as Secretary, Pramod Kumar Tandon and Sagar Basnet as Joint Secretaries, and Mahima Devkota as Treasurer.

Similarly, Binu Shrestha, Deepa Chaudhary, Arpana Adhikari, Asha Gupta Sah, Mamata Giri, and Indira Aryal have been unanimously elected as members.

A four-member election committee was formed to conduct the election. KP Gautam served as the coordinator, with Lucky Chaudhary, Liladhar Upadhyaya, and Saroj Dhungel as members. The convention also elected two central representatives and four provincial representatives. Lucky Chaudhary and Arpana Adhikari have been elected as central representatives. 

Likewise, Shekhar Chaulagain, Mamata Giri, Binu Shrestha, and Mahima Devkota have been elected as provincial representatives.
