Acting President's Eid greetings

Kathmandu, June 17: Acting President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has wished for happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to all members of the Muslim community on the occasion of the great festival Eid-Ul-Adha. 

In a message of best wishes today, the Acting President has termed this festival as a symbol of happiness, brotherhood, goodwill, harmony and collectiveness adding that this festival gives the message of unity to all. 

This festival has encouraged all to extend support to the poor and needy ones. This festival is marked as a symbol of sacrifices and dedication, according to Yadav. 

Likewise, the Acting President has said this festival was equally important in religious, social and cultural aspects adding that this festival teaches us to share our woes and happiness and to remain prompt to support the needy people.

Meanwhile, Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Devraj Ghimire has expressed confidence that the festival would help maintain mutual goodwill, social unity and brotherhood among all Nepalis celebrating different religions and cultures. 

In a message of best wishes today on the occasion of the Eid festival, Ghimire viewed that this festival would make a great contribution to safeguarding our unique cultures and traditions by promoting goodwill, tolerance, reconciliation   (RSS)
