India records 4,518 new COVID-19 cases, 9 more deaths

NEW DELHI, June 6: India's COVID-19 tally rose to 43,181,335 on Monday with 4,518 new cases registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry's latest data.

Besides, nine deaths from the pandemic registered across the country since Sunday morning took the total death toll to 524,701.

There are still 25,782 active COVID-19 cases in the country, an increase of 1,730 during the past 24 hours.

So far, 42,630,852 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals, including 2,779 discharged during the past 24 hours.
