Five injured in Syangja jeep accident

By Our Correspondent, Waling, Oct. 16: At least five people have been injured in a jeep accident in Syangja.

According to the Police, the health condition of two out of five passengers is critical.

The jeep with registration number Lu 3 Cha 4191 was en route to Butwal from Harmichaur of Gulmi.

According to Inspector Arjun BK of District Police Office, Syangja, the jeep met with an accident on Saturday at Galyang Municipality of Siddhartha Highway.

"Six passengers were on board and two have been severely injured," said Inspector BK, adding that the passengers were under treatment at Galyang Municipal Hospital.

The jeep had fallen 150 metres down from the highway. The police informed that further investigation as to the accident is taking place.
