By Kedar Timilsina, Banepa, Oct. 16: As many as 18 people have been injured after a micro-bus met with an accident in Bhumlu Rural Municipality-8 of Kavre.
The micro-bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Katike Deurali of Kavre. According to the District Police Office, Kavre, the micro-bus with registration number Ba. 1 Ja 8976 met with an accident at Barabot in Bhumlu-8 at 11 am on Saturday morning.
The police suspected that the accident took place after the brakes of the micro stopped working. The micro-bus had plunged around 150 metres down the highway.
According to DSP Hari Khatiwada, all the 18 injured passengers were taken to Dhulikhel Hospital and of them, the health conditions of a male, a female and two children were critical.
