Four national footballers test positive for coronavirus 

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said that four members out of 34 players of national team were infected with the virus ahead of the ANFA training that started on Thursday.    

  DPL to be postponed 

The Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) Twenty20 Cricket tournament being held in Dhangadi annually will not be held as prescheduled. The tournament has been affected due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic.    

Taekwondo player Lama gets licence to judge international match

He is the first Nepali to get the licence. He got the licence after participating in international judge refresher course in Thailand in 2008, in Malaysia in 2012, in China in 2012 and 2015 and in Australia in 2019. He also judged the President Cup International Taekwondo Tournament in Australia in 2019.

     CAN categorizes cricketers and signs contracts  

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has signed contracts with men and women cricket players for a year. The CAN board meeting held in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Tuesday made classification of women cricketers for the first time in Nepal.    

National cricket players get their 2019 pay

Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) on Wednesday provided the remuneration to 22 national players and one video analyst, said CAN treasurer Roshan Bahadur Singh.
