Kathmandu, Oct. 2: Taekwondo player Norbu Lama has got the licence to judge second level international match under poomsae category.
He is the first Nepali to get the licence. He got the licence after participating in international judge refresher course in Thailand in 2008, in Malaysia in 2012, in China in 2012 and 2015 and in Australia in 2019. He also judged the President Cup International Taekwondo Tournament in Australia in 2019.
President of the Nepal Taekwondo Association Prakash Shamsher Rana handed the certificate received from the World Taekwondo Association to Lama amid an event here today.
