By TRN, Kathmandu, Mar. 18: The maiden edition of the NIST Inter-School U-13 Cricket Championship is scheduled to begin at Bhaktapur NIST School Ground, Bhaktapur from Today.

Altogether nine teams are vying for the title of U-13 Cricket Championship. They include Angels Heart Morning, Oasis Cricket Academy, Bhaktapur NIST ‘B’, Wai Wai Great Himalaya Cricket Academy, DAV, Akshara School, Bhaktapur NIST ‘A’, Janapremi and Triyog School.

Host Bhaktapur NIST ‘A’ will take on Janapremi in the inaugural match of the tournament while Akshara School will meet on Bhaktapur NIST ‘B’ in the second match of the inaugural day.

Angels Hearts will encounter Oasis Cricket Academy in the first match on Friday while DAV will face Himalaya Cricket Academy in the second match. Similarly, Angels Hearts will meet on host Bhaktapur NIST ‘B’ in the first match and Bhaktapur NIST ‘A’ will take on DAV in the second match on Saturday.

According to Bhaktapur NIST School Event Management, they are conducting the championship to find out the talents. Bhaktapur NIST School Event Management was the organiser of the tournament. The winner of the championship will receive certificates, trophies and medals.
