Nepal to play Kuwait in Bhutan

Kathmandu, Nov. 12: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has confirmed the home match of the Asian World Cup Qualifiers against Kuwait will be played at Changlimithang Stadium, Thimpu, Bhutan.
The match which was slated for November 15 will now be played on November 19.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, ANFA informed that Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on Monday has approved the venue Nepal has proposed as the neutral venue.
AFC asked Nepal to move their home match against Kuwait at the neutral venue after their de;egatopm led by Deng Ceo found the nation’s only international stadium not par to the FIFA and AFC standard. Nepal in response proposed the Bhutan as the neutral venue.
Dasarath Stadium is under reconstruction after it was destroyed by the April Earthquake in 2015. It is expected to be get readied by November 30 as it is going to host the 13th South Asian Games from December 1 to 10.
Nepal already had played all of their four away matches of the qualifiers. Nepal recorded victory against Chinese Taipei while suffered defeats against Kuwait, Australia and Jordan.
