India C inflict huge defeat to Nepal

Kathmandu, Nov 16: Nepal U-19 cricket team suffered a huge 155-run defeat at the hands of India ‘C’ at U-19 Challengers One Day Cricket Tournament held at India on Sunday.
India young bowlers ran through Nepal batting lineup and packed-up Nepal 103 runs in 32.5 overs.
Subhang Samart took three wickets while Rabi Roshan, Ranjan Paul and Bidhyadhar Patil grabbed two wickets apiece in a huge victory for India ‘C’.
Khadak Bahadur Bohara and Kushal Malla each scored 26 runs while Trita Raj Das scored 19 but other Nepali batsmen failed to negotiate with the attacking bowling of the number on Test nation.
Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bat first and posted an empathic total of 258 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the 50 overs.
Saurav Kumar Dagar and Bikrant Singh completed their individual half centuries. Saurav hit 58 and Bikrant made 50.
Similarly, Subhang Samart scored an unbeaten 34 and Arya Shetty scored 31 while Kumar Kusgra hit 27 runs.
Sagar Dhakal grabbed three wickets and Kushal Malla picked two wickets for Nepal.
