Help Nepal stretch three points lead


By A Staff Reporter , Kathmandu, Apr. 6 : Help Nepal Sports Club defeated Nepal Police Club to climb at top of the 5th RBB NVA Cup National Club League Championship on Monday.

Help Nepal overcame Police in a straight three set of 25-22, 25-16 and 25-20 to take the pole position in the men’s category. Help Nepal garnered 12 points from four wins at the league.

Tribhuvan Army Club also eased to a straight 3-0 victory over APF Club in the other match of the day. Army registered 25-15, 25-18, 28-26 to collect nine points.

APF also have equal nine points in the league. Nepal Police and Bulbule Club also have similar six points from four matches while Mani Mukunda and Nayabazaar have no points till now.

In the women’s category, Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club are joint at the top position with eight points. APF Club came from one set down to beat Army by 25-19, 12-25, 13-25. The victory helped APF equal points with Army.

Similarly, Bharatpur Metro recorded their first victory defeating Dhorpatan Sports Club 25-21, 25-12, 25-13. New Diamond have seven points, APF have six points and Bharatpur Metro have three points till now. Dhorpatan have no points so far.
