Kathmandu, July 23: Vice-Chairperson of the CPN (UML), Dr Bhim Bahadur Rawal, has withdrawn his resignation from the post of a member of the House of Representatives.

Spokesperson of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Dr Rojnath Pandey, shared that Rawal withdrew the resignation that he had submitted to Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.

The UML's Vice-Chairperson Rawal had submitted the resignation from the HoR member following the internal dispute in the party on July 18 before Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba took a vote of confidence.

He had resigned from the post, expressing the concern that the game of politics is becoming non-political and unhealthy.

Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had urged leader Rawal to withdraw the resignation.
