Kathmandu, Jan 20: The meeting of the five-party alliance coordination committee has been postponed. A meeting of the committee scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm on Thursday has been postponed, said Ramesh Malla, chief personal secretary to CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

Earlier, in a meeting between the ruling coalition parties including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Coordinator of the High-Level Coordination Committee Ram Chandra Poudel, it was stated that an agreement was reached to hold the local elections on time as stipulated by the constitution.
