Kathmandu, Jan 17: A meeting has been held between the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

According to Surya Kiran Sharma, Press Coordinator of CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Prachanda, the meeting was held at the PM's residence in Baluwatar on Monday. Discussions were held regarding the upcoming National Assembly election on January 26 and the upcoming local elections.

He said that during the meeting between Prime Minister Deuba and Prachanda, it was agreed to convene a meeting of the five-party alliance coordination committee on Tuesday.
