By Deepa Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Apr. 29: The flow of vehicles in Kathmandu valley has decreased significantly with the beginning of the prohibitory order imposed in the Kathmandu Valley from today.

The main entry points of the Valley including Thankot and Kalanki, which had been thronged with people leaving and entering the Valley prior to the implementation of prohibitory order, has been fairly empty today.

According to SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari, spokesperson of the Traffic Police over 1,500 vehicles defying the government's order were put to hold today. He added that traffic police had been deployed in each and every road across the Valley to ensure effective implementation of the prohibitory order.

SSP Adhikari said that the people's mobility had come to a complete halt at the Valley entry points.
