Kathmandu, Nov. 30: An English language music video My Shangri-La based on Nepal’s tourism has been released.
A country with unique natural beauty, cultural heritages and geographical diversities, Nepal has been an attractive tourist destination over the years.
Various initiatives are being taken by private and government sectors to attract more foreign tourists to Nepal.

In this regard, a music video that reflects the diverse topography, culture and endless tourist attractions of Nepal was released.
Music is also an important part of various aspects of tourism promotion. That is why the music video was made to promote Nepal across the world by highlighting Nepal’s tourism potential through music. It is claimed that for the first time, a music video related to tourism has been made in English called My Shangri-La.

The purpose of the song through this music video Shangri-La is to attract both international and domestic tourists.
It is said that the cost of the music video produced in about two years is more than Rs. 2.5 million.
Producer and director of the music video is Surya Baral.

Penned by filmmaker and writer Prem Bahadur Basnyat, the music video features music by Subarna Limbu and singer Preeti Kaur.
At the meantime, COVID-19 has badly affected the tourism sector. The country's tourism sector, which has been hardest hit by the pandemic, is now slowly recovering.
