Kathmandu, June 9: Minister for Information and Communication Dr Bikram
Timilsina has instructed agencies under the ministry to perform duties in a
result-oriented manner by resolving problems that surface while executing
duties.
Addressing the meeting
of the third quarterly review of FY 2025/26 of the Ministry and Ministerial
Development and Problem Solution Committee, Minister Dr Timilsina highlighted
on the need to solve problems by doing away with the trend to evade problems
and questions.
Employees in the Ministry
need to explore what the problems are and Where they originated and how they can
be untied, said the Minister, adding, one should move ahead with solution
oriented way reviewing present challenges, past efforts and results.
"Solution should be found out by tracing the root of the problems whenever they crop up," said Minister Dr. Timilsina, "We need to work for tangible results by not evading questions and problems but by discussing on them."

He was of the view that complaints about the lack of
or insufficient budget for programmes were pointless as even the allocated
budget was not mobilized in many cases.
The Minister stressed on the need of effective
performance by all agencies to implement policy, plans and programmes set by
the government for the current fiscal year.
