Phidim, March 26: Two Nepali youths, who had returned home in the same aircraft along with the 19-year-old France returnee Nepali female student who tested positive for COVID-19 and is being treated at Teku Sub-tropical Hospital, have been kept at quarantine facility.
The youths originally from Phidim Municipality and Phalgunanda Rural Municipality are being quarantined at Miklajung of Morang district on Wednesday.
They were identified and quarantined with the initiative of State-1 government.
Similarly, local administration has urged the families of the youths to stay in self-quarantine. It was reported that three youths from Morang district had returned home from abroad in the same airplane.
The third returnee is said to be in self-quarantine in Jhapa.
State-1 Minster for Finance and Internal Affairs Indra Bahadur Angbo said the youths had reached Morang via ambulance in his initiative.
He further said the State government urged the concerned families to stay in quarantine and now they all are kept under doctors’ observation.
