Bhairahawa, Oct 12 : Pravasi Nepali Mitra Manch Bharat and Manav Kalyan Mitra Manch Nepal have rescued two teenagers who were taking shelter in a children's home in India.
Suman Pariyar and Bhim Thapa, also known as Prem Karki, who have been kept in the Faizabad Children's Home in New Delhi, India, for three years, were rescued and brought to Nepal Friday. Among them, Suman has been handed over to his parents through the District Police Office, Rupendehi, while Bhim's family has not been confirmed yet.

President of Pravasi Nepali Mitra Manch India Bishnu Khanal and President of Delhi Baburam Thapa had brought the two teenagers rescued from the orphanage to Nepal. The Manav Kalyan Mitra Manch played a role in finding out the home address of the teenagers and calling their parents.

Suman Pariyar is from Dumrekhola-1, Sarlahi. His mother Sita Maya Pariyar had come to receive Suman, who ran away from home at the age of 12 three years ago.
"Suddenly, my son disappeared from the house. I searched him everywhere and possible places in the district," said Sita. Suman, who fled to Delhi, India, worked there for a few days and later get confused to find his destination and at the meantime, the Indian police from the railway station rescued him and sent him to a children's home.

Bhim Thapa, who hails from Rukum's Sisne 6 Dhaune, went missing at the Delhi Railway Station while returning from Kerala, India with his parents. Thapa, who went missing at the age of 12, was also sent to a children's home by the police.

As soon as the Pravasi Nepali Mitra Manch got the information that they were in the children's home, the rescue process was started in coordination with the Nepali embassy. Manav Kalyan Mitra Manch was rescued after arranging home address, parents and other necessary coordination.

Chairperson of the forum Durga Prasad Aryal informed that 11 people have been rescued this year alone and handed over to their parents. Aryal, who is also the former president of Prabasi Nepali Mitra Manch, has been rescuing the stranded or missing Nepalis by registering the organisation even after he started living in Nepal.

According to the District Police Office, Rupandehi, 40 boys and 122 girls have gone missing. Of them, 30 boys and 82 girls were found but the others are still missing.
