By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Jan 5: Three people succumbed to COVID-19 in a single night in Banke District.
According to Chief District Officer of Banke Ram Kumar Kurungmwang, among the deceases two were under treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College and one was at Bheri Hospital.
A 13-year-old boy from Dang and a male from Kanchanpur were admitted to the Nepalgunj Medical College. Similarly, a 68-year-old male from Janaki Municipality breathed his last at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj.
So far, a total of 80 infected patients who had come to Banke from other districts have died while receiving treatment.
