Solukhumbu, Jan 18 : At least three persons died and one other injured in a road accident that occurred at Mahadev cliff on the border of Solu Dudhkunda municipality and Necha Salyan rural municipality.
The Eicher truck (Ba 4 Kha 7980) met with an accident at around 11.30 pm on Sunday. Those deceased have been identified as Kamal Magar, 33, of Dhading, Ramkumar Magar, aged around 33, of Hetauda and Krishna Chaudhary, 19, of Saptari, according to Police Inspector of District Police Office, Solukhumbu, Anil Mabohang.
Critically injured Ramesh Magar, 27, of Hetauda sustained has been taken to the Faplu-based district hospital.
The vehicle carrying construction materials of the Dudhkoshi Solukhola (86-MW) hydropower project had fallen down some 300 meters off the cliff, police said.
