Galkot, Nov 23: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said on Saturday that the leftist unity had given a message of unity at the national level itself.
The ruling party chair said this while addressing a joint election rally organised by the NCP and Rastriya Jana Morcha at Burtibang of Dhorpatan municipality-1.
Also the former Prime Minister, Prachanda, said the electoral alliance of the NCP with the Jana Morcha now in the context of unification of the then CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist) has given a message of unity throughout the country.
He said there was no alternative to Communist unity for Nepal's development and the leftist electoral alliance has given the message that the Communists are now united.
The NCP chair also urged the voters to make Khim Bikram Shahi, the common candidate of the NCP and Jana Morcha in the upcoming by-election, victorious with the highest number of votes.
On a different note he insisted that the territory which India has encroached in its new political map belonged to Nepal and the government would resolve the border issues with India.
