By Our Correspondent, Makawanpur, Oct. 27: Rajendra Prasad Pande, a member of Bagmati Provincial Assembly, has submitted his claim for the post of the Chief Minister of the province.
A leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Pande has been backed by 59 lawmakers of four different parties in the assembly.
Pande submitted his claim letter to Bagmati Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma today, according to the secretariat of the Province Chief.
Following the resignation of Ashtalaxmi Shakya from the post of Chief Minister today, Province Chief Sharma has asked the lawmakers to tender a claim for the post till tomorrow afternoon.
