Pakistan-Nepal Trade Fair to start on Monday

Kathmandu, Sept. 11: Pakistan and Nepal Friendship Trade Fair 2019 is set to organize from September 16 to 22 at United World Trade Centre, Tripureshore Kathmandu.
Pakistan trade fair is being organized in Kathmandu every year for last one decade in cooperation with Pakistani Embassy in Nepal and Nepal Embassy in Pakistan.
This year, the Pakistani Fair has been promoted by Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Introduction Trade Show Nepal, the event management company, informed that furniture, leather items, handicrafts, garments, saris, Kurtha, bedsits, foot wares, and jewelries among others would be showcased in the fair.
According to organizers, there will be stalls of 60 Pakistani traders in the week-long trade fair. This year there will also be stalls of products from Nepal, India and Bangladesh in the fair.
The fair will help promoting the trade between Nepal and Pakistan and will contribute for the prosperity of both the nations, said Suman Maharjan , executive director of the event management company.
Pakistani leather items are influencing Nepali market and Nepali handicrafts have been able to win the heart of Pakistani customers in recent years, he said. The fair will be supportive to promote one country’s products in another, he added.
This year, food stalls, gaming zone, photo shoot and various cultural programmes will be the major attractions, Maharjan said.
