Biratnagar, Dec 30: Spokesperson of Province-1 government, Hikmat Kumar Karki, has said the province government was not for the dissolution of Province Assembly.
At a press conference organized here on Wednesday, he said although the Chief Minister could dissolve the Province Assembly, the no-confidence motion registered against him would be defended boldly. The Assembly meeting has been called for January 21, he said, adding that the provincial structures of federal system would not be enfeebled by dissolving the Province Assembly.
Also the Minister for Internal Affairs in the province, Karki said the no-confidence motion was registered in a haste. The Ruling NCP was not split in a legal way, and the no-confidence vote was a normal phenomenon. He however said the decision on the formation of next government would be made once the no-confidence motion is registered in due procedure.
Also the member of the NCP, he made it clear that it was not any principle but the bickering over post was main reason behind party split.
