Kathmandu, Sept 10 : Main opposition Nepali Congress party has drawn its attention over the government's apathy to amendment proposals registered on some bills by lawmakers and differing views presented in different committees and sub-committees of the the parliament.
Issuing a press release on Monday, NC parliamentary party office has said its attention was drawn on the bill framed to amend Nepal Citizenship Act-2063 BS, bill on formation, operation and terms and conditions regarding Federal Civil Service and Information Technology bill, among others which were tabled by the government in the parliament and are under discussion in thematic committees.
Nepali Congress would not accept any bills which are inconsistent with the preamble, provisions and arrangements of the Nepal Constitution, stated the press release issued by NC parliamentary party Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand.(RSS)
