Kathmandu, Sept 7 : Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said NC had always cleared the stalemate the country faced.
At an interaction on 'NC 14th General Convention and Leadership Development' organized by the party at Jorpati of Sindhupalchowk constituency no 2 on Monday, leader Singh viewed that the current government was formed to give out let from the impasse. The NC has not compromised with anyone for the establishment of democratic values in the country, he reminded.
The leader further argued that NC leadership was committed to protecting citizen's fundamental rights.
Similarly, he made aware the party leadership on the procedure and norms while distributing the party's active membership for the 14th general convention. He urged the cadres to strengthen the party organization from the very base so that it would not face defeat again.
On the occasion, central member and youth leader Gagan Kumar Thapa said the NC which struggled for the rule of constitution must ensure rule of law in the party itself.
Another central member of the party Bishnu Bikram Thapa urged the party leaders and cadres to rise above caste, religion and region for the sake of party unity and strengthening.
Sindhupalchowk district Chair of NC, Bikash Lama, underscored the need of fostering debate at lower levels on MCC.
