By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 5: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Thursday confirmed 1,398 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
"In 1,3068 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) done in the last 24 hours, as many as 1,398 persons, 601 females and 797 males, were found to have been infected with the novel coronavirus in the Valley," revealed the MoHP in its daily update.
Currently, there are 16,331 active cases in Kathmandu, 1,248 in Bhaktapur and 2,276 in Lalitpur.
Meanwhile, some 3,051 new infections were recorded across the nation on Thursday, taking the national tally to 185,974 including 148,408 cases of recoveries and 1,052 death cases.
