Kathmandu, Jan. 8: Nepali Congress Kathmandu Working Committee (NCKWC) has decided to protest against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
A meeting of the NCKWC held on Wednesday decided that it would take to the street against the government move.
After the meeting, NC Kathmandu chair Sabuj Baniya informed that the protest would be held in the capital on January 9 as per the plan prepared by the NCKWC.
According to Baniya, they will stage protest in all 20 Bagmati State Assembly constituencies of Kathmandu Valley, in addition to protests in all Municipalities of Kathmandu on January 16 and in all wards of Municipalities on January 21.
The NC had termed the house dissolution an ‘unconstitutional’ and ‘undemocratic’ move.
