Lahan, Oct 13 : The Ramkumar Umaprasad Memorial Hospital at Lahan in Siraha district has closed all its services from today after one of its health workers contracted COVID-19.
Issuing a notice here today, the Hospital administration said that all services including emergency have been closed until further notice.
Emergency services will, however, resume in the Hospital after 12 hours. The Emergency ward would undergo disinfection process, according to Hospital Chief Sunil Prasad Kushabaha.
“The infected health worker is currently undergoing treatment,” informed Kushabaha, adding that other health workers had also shown the symptoms of COVID-19 and PCR test was conducted on them as well.
“Until they get their PCR test result, the Hospital would shut down all of its services to prevent and further spread of the Coronavirus,” said Kushabaha.
