The flu had spread threat amongst the denizens as its symptoms were similar to that of Covid-19. The Gaupalika confirmed that everyone infected from the flu got well.

The seasonal epidemic was hyped after the Gaupalika had informed the Ministry of Health and Population about the flu.

The ministry had deployed a technical team at the village to study about the flu.

The lab report revealed that the denizens were infected with seasonal cough and cold, he added.

Hom Narayan Shrestha, chairman of Jugal Gaupalika said, “As the flu had infected a large number of people, we had immediately informed about it to the ministry.”

Shrestha said that everyone had recovered from the flu.

As the Gaupalika was situated at a higher region and was densely populated, the concerned authorities were concerned about the lack of personal hygiene and sanitation and their health.

“The activeness of Gaupalika and the government helped denizens to recover shortly,” she said.

After the outbreak of seasonal flu, two schools of the Gaupalika were closed temporarily.
