A meeting of the Publicity Sub-Committee, under the Constitution Day Organising Main Committee, held at the Ministry this morning under the chairmanship of Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal made that decision.
The meeting has urged the government, community and private sector media houses to work for wide publicity of the day.

According to the meeting, it has been decided to send Constitution Day greetings through SMS, display the message on the display boards, broadcast special dialogues, seminars and other public awareness programmes focusing on the Constitution of Nepal and publish special issues in national level newspapers.

Nepal Television and Radio Nepal will broadcast the official ceremony live from the Nepali Army Pavilion, Tundikhel on the Constitution Day on September 19.

Earlier, the meeting of the Main Organising Committee headed by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba decided to celebrate the day from September 18 to 20 with programmes, including lighting candles at the Nepali embassies and missions at home and abroad.
