By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 16: Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal is being taken to New Delhi for medical treatment.
According to Niraj Acharya, youth leader of CPN-UML, preparations were being made to take leader Khanal to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India.
Khanal had been admitted to Norvic Hospital, Thapathali on Monday after having difficulties in respiration along with a deficiency of Hemoglobin. "As no improvement was seen in leader Khanal's health, he is heading to New Delhi at 12:00 in the afternoon via a flight on the recommendation of doctors at Norvic Hospital," said Acharya.
Khanal's wife, son, and a doctor will be accompanying him for the medical visit.
Currently, Khanal is under treatment with oxygen support.
