Chitwan, Nov 27: Chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav, said that the executive should not interfere in the judiciary.

Talking to media persons here today, Chair Yadav opined that the judiciary would not remain independent if the executive stepped into the judiciary.

Though the government has paid attention to giving an outlet to the deadlock surfaced in the judiciary, it cannot be said that the government has meddled with the judiciary, he mentioned.

Chair Yadav shared, "The executive should not interfere in it”. Saying judges and advocates should find out the solution of the issue of chief justice rather the political parties should not come forward to that end, he added they wished the court system should sort out the current problem that emerged in the judiciary.

The judiciary itself is an organisation having its own constitutional provisions for its independence from the influence of political power, said Chair Yadav.

He further said. "The House should be called soon and provided with business. There are several bills in the House awaiting deliberations and endorsement”.
