Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Javed calls on Speaker Sapkota

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 15: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Dr. Mazhar Javed paid a courtesy call on Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota at the latter's office in Singha Durbar today.

The two discussed about bilateral relations, cooperation and issues of mutual interests of the two friendly countries, according to Speaker Sapkota's press advisor Shreedhar Neupane.

In the meeting, Speaker Sapkota lauded Pakistan's efforts to control COVID-19 spread and shared his happiness over good friendly relations between the two countries.

Speaker Sapkota expressed hope that cooperation between the parliament of the two countries and other pending issues due to COVID-19 pandemic would move forward smoothly once the pandemic is over, according to press advisor Neupane.

Ambassador Javed expressed thankfulness to the federal parliament for all the cooperation during his four year tenure in Nepal and hoped that relations between the two friendly countries would be further expanded and deepened after COVID-19 pandemic is over.
