Mahottari, Sept 7: Chief Minister of State 2 Mohammad Lalbabu Raut Gaddhi on Saturday pointed out the need of development of agriculture, industry and tourism as the main basis for prosperity.
He stressed the need for pursuing prosperity and development by making use of country's diversity.
He was inaugurating the first general convention of the Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneur Association of State 2 in Bardibas.
He also emphasised coordination and cooperation between all concerned authorities for carrying out development activities.
The state government has floated a concept to explore religious tourism by maintaining major religious sites in all eight districts of the state, he said.
Likewise, Minister for Physical Infrastructure of the state, Jitendra Sonal said the state government has made a plan to propel development activities by capitalizing cultural richness of the state.
Other speakers, including State Assembly members Sundar Bishwokarma, Ram Aashish Yadav and Sharada Devi Thapa praised contributions of hotel entrepreneurs to the development of tourism of the country. (RSS)
