By Amar Raj Nahaki, Tanahu, Feb 23: At least 43 passengers got injured when two passenger buses collided at Kamalabari of Byas Municipality-12 in Tanahu district this morning.
A bus heading to Damauli (Na 5 Kha 2856) from Mugling collided with the next coming from opposite direction ((Na 7 Kha 206).
Of the injured, 16 have been undergoing treatment at Damauli-based National Apolo Hospital, 3 at Damauli Hospital and 24 a Ratnahari Hospital, according to chief of Tanahu District Police office, Binod Silwal.
Five of the injured were given primary treatment in the district and then sent to other hospitals for further treatment. Four of these five have been receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital while one is getting treatment at Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital, according to the police.
