A total of 300 households at Mohanpur of Chinnamasta rural municipality-2 in the district have been brought under the coverage of electrification.
Usha Kumari Mandal, Vice-Chairperson of the Chinnamasta rural municipality, officially switched on the transformer this morning, eliciting cheers and applause from the locals since it is for the first time the locality got access to electricity.
According to Rastriya Janata Party Nepal's regional secretary Rabindra Kumar Mandal informed that the transformer worth Rs 2.5 million was installed by the Chinnamasta rural municipality.
