14 persons died when a Jeep en route to Devisthan of Nisikhola Rural Municipality from Gulmi district met with an accident at Badigadh Rural Municipality-7.
The jeep numbered Ga 1 Ja 5219 had skidded off the Mid-hill highway and fell down from Kopche Bhir.
Thamman Bahadur Reshmi, official of Badigadh Rural Municipality, informed that 14 persons died on the spot. Three, who sustained injuries, have been taken to local first-aid centres.
According to the police, commuters from Isma of Gulmi were en route to Nishikhola of Baglung to participate in the worship of their clan deities.
