1,229 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 19: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Thursday confirmed 1,229 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley.

Of the total 2,103 new infections recorded across the nation on Saturday, 1,229 new cases, 513 females and 716 males, were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley itself, revealed the MoHP in its daily update.

Currently, there are 12,441 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 80,726 including 67,973 cases of recoveries and 312 fatalities.

Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 7,265 infections until now of which, 6,195 patients have already recovered while 81 succumbed to the infection. There are 989 active cases in Bhaktapur.  

Lalitpur district has recorded 1,774 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 9,441 recoveries and 89 deaths. Currently, there are 2,244 active cases in Lalitpur.
