By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 23: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed 1,007 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley.
Of the total 1,980 new infections recorded across the nation on Friday, 1,007 new cases, 454 females and 553 males were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley itself, revealed the MoHP in its daily update.
Currently, there are 8,667 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 83,825 including 74,832 cases of recoveries and 326 fatalities.
Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 7,523 infections until now of which, 6,810 patients have already recovered while 85 succumbed to the infection. There are 628 active cases in Bhaktapur.
Lalitpur district has recorded 12,387 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 10,799 recoveries and 90 deaths. Currently, there are 1,498 active cases in Lalitpur.
