By Rekhiram Rana, Palpa, June 22: At least two persons died while another one got seriously injnured when a landslide swept away three vehicles at Sammobari, Tansen Municipality-11 in the district today afternoon.
A car, a truck and a mini truck whose registration number were yet to be ascertained were pushed out of the road by a mudslide flowing from above at the Palpa Gulmi road section this afternoon, according to the police.
Two persons who were rescued in unconscious condition have been declared dead, according to the police.
The police and the locals are continuing with rescue although it has been quite difficult as the landslide has not stopped, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police in Palpa, Madan Giri.
