Rupandehi, Nov. 25: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that Sainamaina of Rupandehi would be developed as a modern and systematic city.
Addressing different programmes organised at Sainamaina today, Finance Minister shared that Sainamaina should be developed by making a plan of systematic urbanization.
He said construction activities of the pride projects for development of the municipality were underway in an expedited manner, expressing commitment not to let budget crunch for the same.
The Finance Minister expressed belief that construction of Sainamaina ring road, sewerage treatment plant, senior citizen shelter, Lamiraha high-dam and playground was underway and the municipality would get form of a modern city after completion of these infrastructures.
Saying Lamiraha high-dam is the pride project of Lumbini province, not only of Sainamaina, he added that the high-dam would help provide irrigation facilities in Sainamaina and help promote tourism.
He also shared that process for the construction of a modern systematic museum at a historical place, Ranikuwa, has been forwarded to gather archeological things related with Gautam Buddha.
The FM further said that the government has already made an arrangement of necessary budget for the construction of road from Butwal to Dhankhola via Chandrauta, expressing belief that the municipal would become more prosperous after construction of the Butwal-Dhankhoa road and Sainamaina ring-road.
Inaugurating newly constructed buildings of Sainamaina Parroha Parameshwor Secondary School and Parroha Secondary School, he expressed commitment to provide financial support to the schools imparting good education.
