By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 1: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has concluded for today deciding to continue the meeting tomorrow.
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, NCP spokesperson, informed that the proposals presented by the NCP Chairmen duo were discussed in the Secretariat meeting held today at Baluwatar, official residence of the Prime Minister.
He said that the Secretariat members put forth their views on the separate proposals of the two chairmen and that the meeting was called for tomorrow at 1 pm as some of the Secretariat members were yet to put forth their views on the documents.
NCP executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' had presented his proposal in the 70th Secretariat meeting of the NCP on 13 November 28 while another Chairman of the NCP, KP Sharma Oli, who is also Prime Minister, had presented his proposal in the meeting held on 28 November.
NCP spokesperson Shrestha said that both the Chairmen and some secretariat members put forth their views in today's meeting.
As the meeting of the Standing Committee was called for December 3, the Secretariat meeting was called for tomorrow itself, December 2, according to the NCP spokesperson.
He expressed optimism that the meeting would draw some conclusion as the discussions were being held to identify the problems of the party and resolve them.
