By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 5: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Saturday confirmed 408 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
In 12,473 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 408 persons were found with the virus infection in the Valley itself, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
Of the new cases, were detected in 326 Kathmandu, 45 were detected in Bhaktapur and 37 were detected in Lalitpur.
Moreover, some 1,041 cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the nation taking the national tally to 45,277 including 27127 cases of recovery and nine death cases.
