Parsa, Jan 12: Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party, Upendra Yadav, has said that all democratic forces should be united to safeguard federalism and republic, which was the need of the hour.
In a press conference organised by Federal Press Forum, Parsa, at Birgunj today, Chair Yadav stressed that all democratic forces should stand together to take the country out from the current political complexities as the risk of losing all gained achievements as federalism and republic has developed due to unconstitutional move of the government.
Expressing confidence that the Supreme Court would make a verdict over the case of dissolution of House of Representatives in favour of democrats and the HoR would be reinstated, he added the election would not be held on the slated date at any cost.
Chair Yadav further said that it was necessary to search the outlet of the HoR dissolution as it is a purely political matter.
Responding to a query, he opined that all problems related between Nepal and India should be resolved through discussion and talks.
Similarly, a member of the central executive committee of the party, Laxman Lal Karna, said that there is no doubt that the SC would reinstate the HoR as the SC has always made its verdict in favour of democracy and people.
