645 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 25: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Friday confirmed 645 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.

In 12,262 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as  645 persons, 254 females and 391 males, were found with the novel coronavirus infection in the Valley itself, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

Of the 645 new cases, 503 cases including 189 females and 314 males were detected in Kathmandu, 51 cases including 20 females and 31 males were found in Bhaktapur and 91 cases including 45 females and 46 males were recorded in Lalitpur.

Moreover, some 1,313 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed across the nation on Friday, taking the national tally to 70,614 including 51,866 cases of recovery and 459 death cases.
