Kailali, Nov 12: Ward chairperson of Mohanyal rural municipality-5 in Kailali district, Chhabilal Haujali, has been arrested on the charge of thrashing office assistant Tulasara Sijali.
Chief of Area Police Office, Sukhad, Police Inspector Harisharan Bhatta said that ward chair Haujali was arrested after the victim woman filed complaint against Haujali at the Area Police Office, Sukhad, saying Haujali thrashed her.
Further investigation into the case was underway, said Bhatta.
